Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic restaurant and bar. The ideal candidate will have experience in cocktail service, food service and have a strong focus on customer satisfaction. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests, and maintaining a lively and welcoming atmosphere in both dining and bar settings. Prior experience with POS systems such as Toast or Square is preferred, along with excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy hours. A background in food safety, food handling, and hospitality will support your success in this role. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently.
• Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a memorable experience
• Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for billing purposes
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area according to food safety standards
• Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels regularly
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and verify guest ages as needed
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for timely food and beverage delivery during regular service hours
• Manage multiple priorities efficiently through effective time management during peak hours

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Craft Cocktails, food service or hospitality, especially in dining and bar environments
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Square, Toast or Union is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
• Excellent time management skills to handle fast-paced service periods effectively
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends, or holidays as required by the venue’s operating hours
• Previous experience in cocktail preparation and creation is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to foster guest loyalty
