Delivery Center - Truck Maintenance Technician

About the role

Oversee vehicle maintenance, perform minor repairs, and coordinate technical support activities to ensure operational readiness and safety. Collaborate with internal teams and external workshops to address mechanical needs efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Execute vehicle inspection schedules and repair plans.
• Support the development of cost-effective technical solutions.
• Conduct thorough inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety standards.
• Address maintenance concerns in collaboration with workshops and vendors.
• Provide guidance to the team regarding technical details of the fleet.
• Support team training on technical processes and safety protocols.
• Track the inventory of maintenance tools and parts
• Monitor repairs performed by partners, evaluate the outcome and provide feedback.
• Recommend improvements for maintenance operations.
• Liaise with workshops to ensure timely and accurate repairs.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and costs.
• Analyze maintenance data to improve efficiency
• Set technical objectives aligned with operational needs.
• Implement strategies to enhance vehicle readiness

Requirements

• Strong mechanical background with truck and trailer systems
• CDL license is desirable
• Excellent problem-solving and mechanical skills
• Proficiency in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Familiarity with safety and compliance standards
