Quality Control Technician

Job description

Preferred Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED

ACI Field Grade 1 certification is required or must be obtained within the 1st year of employment

NPCA PQS 1 is required

1-3 years construction and/or concrete testing experience is preferred

Responsibilities and Duties:

Must follow and enforce all safety standards

Perform field testing of concrete

Prepare detailed/accurate field reports daily

Communicate with the Batch Plant, Production Supervisors, and Quality Control Supervisor on any delays for the pour.

Skill Requirements:

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans, specifications, safety rules, and read a tape measure

Accuracy and attention to detail is required

Obtain necessary field technician certifications

Must be punctual, reliable and dependable

Must be able to lift, carry, push up to 40 lbs on a regular basis

Must pass background investigation, drug screening

Must be able to obtain ACI certifications within 90 days of employment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
