Performs routine maintenance and repairs on city water, sewer mains, and services.

2. Directs: This is a non-supervisory position.
3. Other: Has contact with other city employees and the general public.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of: methods, practices, and equipment natural gas; and the safe operation of light equipment and the provisions of the Texas Motor Vehicle Code relating to the operation of such motorized equipment.
Skill/Ability to: service and repair equipment at city water, gas, and wastewater facilities. Understand and follow instructions; establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers; tolerate outside working conditions, including exposure to adverse weather conditions; and maintain appropriate necessary certifications, Texas driver's license applicable to job responsibilities, and good driving record.
Qualifications:
ACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
High school Diploma, or its equivalent, or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED
